From Strollers, carseats, diapers, toys, baby carriers, soothers, blankets, clothing items, creams of all sorts, whatever comes to mind...

baby bjorn. dont get a different brand, i tried that once and didn't like it at all. the bjorn is the best!!

you have all my favorites already, mamwrap, belly band...summer baby wont need robeez right away or gap socks (the only ones that stay on newborn feet)

if you get a girl, she'll obviously need some headbands:)

old fashioned cloth diapers (burp cloths) to wear in your tank top at night to keep from leaking all over the bed and give your nipples a rest from nursing pads...yucky!!

speaking of nursing...
lansinoh brand nursing pads and nipple cream. the lily pad silicon things seem like a miracle item at first but it's not natural for that area to not be able to breathe...the lansinoh nursing pads are a way better option!

k, is this too much information yet? ha ha

Ok...tried the bjorn but found it too hard on the neck..maybe cause I was in an accident..but the ERGO baby carrier is amazing...it has a back pack style wasteband...so all the weight is carried on your hips...having had 2 well sized babies...I love this thing...also when they are a bit older they can be carried on the back..I tried Noah on the back the other day just for fun...and he actually fit on it...not that I ever would...but pretty impressed with it...OK next..love the lansinoh nursing pads, body pillow...I found this was a must. foot rubs were always nice too...I will send more later...you asked ...you received...xo ergobabycarrier.com

Teri!! Yaaay! Congrats!
You really are getting right on all this baby stuff aren't you!?!
Well... I have to agree with the Ergo baby carrier. The Bjorn was ok for itty bitty new born stage, but I found that carrier hard on the back too. Ergo all the way! lol
Just got the new Ergo and LOVE it! Scarlet is getting big now too and its still so comfy!
LOVE my Valco Stroller, and the bamboo sleep sacks are the best.
Agree with Colleen too... Lansinoh nursing pads are the way to go. The only ones that don't leak all over.
Oh and I know you are into Jewelry... I make baby Jewelry if you have a girl!! Itty Bitty Pretties!! Natural Baby and Belly will have them in her store this week! I do custom pretties for your Itty Bitty too!! :)
Ok, well so excited for you and Matt!
Big Hugs!!

I used my own sling and loved it with both girls. I am a big fan of G Diapers (but use cloth inside rather that the disposable inserts.

Tights for baby girls are amazing cuz my kids hated socks from day one.

PLAYPEN!!! Especially if you want to do any travelling. I was a big fan of a my cute papasan swing...

My cheap $10 stroller has miles put on it while the big double stoller beast I only took out occasionally (like to the mall, great for carrying extra packages)

I also used washable nursing pads at night...a good quality nursing bra (Esteem Lingerie will make any bra into a nursing bra) It's great to be able to feel pretty even when you haven't showered for days...hehe

Just trust your instincts. There are a gazillion experts telling you everything you HAVE to do to be a good parent. Enjoy every second. It goes SO FAST...You will get your sleep back eventually
